Facilities offered on the Park
With the emphasis on peace and tranquility here at Merley House Holiday
Park our aim is geared more towards rest and relaxation. We currently
have or are able to offer the following facilities.
Pitch and Putt
At this time, we have our own 9 hole pitch and putt course for
everyone to make use of and enjoy. The course is laid out over four
acres with holes ranging in distance from 40 - 110 yards. For the
non-golfer, clubs and balls are available for hire from the reception.
There is a reduced green fee if you have your own equipment. |

Swimming Pool
Our outdoor heated swimming pool with toddler pool and sun-loungers
is open from Whitsun Bank Holiday through to mid-September. It is
for the sole use of holiday home owners and their guests whilst
staying at the Park. There is no life-guard on duty however we have
very strict rules on the use and safety of the pool. |

Shop, Bar and Take-Away
Although these facilities are not provided on the Park, they are
all within walking distance down the lane from the main entrance
at the touring park. There you can get light snacks in the cafe,
have a drink and a meal in the bar plus have use of the fully stocked
convenience store. |

Playground
We have two play areas. One is outside the reception with a climbing
frame, slide, wendy house and sand pit. The second play area is
situated at the rear of Merley House on the main lawn. This incorporates
2 swings, a large climbing frame, slide, sand pit and a recreational
lawn for most soft ball games, including five-a-side football, cricket
and kite flying on a windy day! |

Laundrette
There is a small laundrette facility situated next to Merley House
where you will find 2 washing machines, a spin dryer, a tumble dryer
(all coin operated) and an area with washing lines. Please Note:
We do not allow washing lines to be put up around the Park.

Rubbish & Re-Cycling
Although each holiday home will have its own dustbin which is emptied
by us on a weekly basis, we actively encourage all our visitors
to re-cycle as much waste as possible and to this end we have a
number of re-cycling bins available at the rubbish collection point

Park Security
Because all the holiday homes are privately owned and used, in
general the Park is an extremely safe place for adults and children
alike. However, to enhance the level of security for everyones'
peace of mind, we have in place cctv cameras which are monitored
24 hours per day, plus a barrier at the entrance for which you will
be issued a pass card.
